I installed the conversion for a 66 mustang inline 6. There's a lot of play in the steering. Is there an adjustment for this? I used to be able to adjust the manual steering using the nut and screw at the top of the gear box, but the new gear box screw is difficult to turn.

There is an over center adjustment just like your manual box. Any adjustments should be incremental and must be made with the box centered. It is just a matter of loosening the lock nut and tightening the adjusting screw clockwise.

I have a 66 mustang 6 cylinder with aftermarket a/c. Can I run the pump off the crankshaft with a bolt on pulley

I am not aware of a bolt on pulley for the 6 cylinder cars as the pulley grooves are part of the harmonic balancer assembly. There are two and three row balancers available.
