Couplers
Borgeson’s 2” straight extensions, known as couplers, can be welded or pinned to the un-splined end of a shaft. The 1” - 48 and 1” Double-D (DD) couplers feature a 1-1/4” hole that can accept an adapter to reduce the inside diameter to 3/4” smooth or another splined or 3/4” DD coupler. This assembly must be pinned and/or welded together.

Adapters 
Borgeson adapters provide the flexibility needed to match different sizes and types of steering components. These adapters ensure secure and reliable connections between various steering parts.

Our steering couplers and adapters are available in durable steel and stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting performance and resistance to corrosion. They are compatible with the same spline and Double-D sizes as our universal joints, making them a versatile choice for various applications.
