This advanced power steering box bolts directly to the stock K-frame and fits your stock pitman arm, making installation straightforward and hassle-free. The Borgeson Mopar power steering box features a 14:1 ratio with only 3.5 turns lock-to-lock, providing a tight, responsive modern steering feel.

In addition to improved steering performance, the Borgeson power steering box offers a 10-pound weight savings compared to the stock power box (23 lbs. vs. 33 lbs.), increased exhaust clearance, and compatibility with both factory manual and power steering applications.     Borgeson has now developed a modern power steering box for the 1962-1972 Mopars. This box fits both factory power & manual steering cars. The Borgeson conversion box offers a 14:1 quick ratio, firm modern power steering feel, drastically increased header clearance and a 10# weight savings over a factory power box. This box bolts directly to the stock K-member mounting location and fits the original 1-1/8” pitman arm. The steering column will need to be shortened for installation of this conversion box. Use of a power steering cooler is highly recommended in these applications. All Borgeson power steering boxes are assembled and tested in the USA from globally sourced components and have a 3 year warranty. WARRANTY
    NOTE: This box will fit all original Mopar 1-1/8” pitman shafts. If you car has the larger 1-1/4” pitman shaft you will need to purchase part #800127.
