    Power Steering Conversion Box; 49-51 Mercury Full-Size Cars. New modern power steering box with a quick 14:1 ratio and firm modern feel. Borgeson has manufactured this box to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and includes a pitman arm to fit the stock steering linkage without any interference or modification of the frame. The original factory column will need to be shortened for clearance power steering box. Not recommended for 3-speed manual column shift cars. Cars with factory power steering will require either a drag link adapter or a manual steering center link. All Borgeson power steering boxes are assembled and tested in the USA from globally sourced components and have a 3 year warranty.     Power Steering Conversion Delphi 600 For 1955-1957 Chevy transforms your manual steering into power steering for easier driving. This conversion box fits 1955-1957 Chevy full size cars and uses remanufactured Delphi 600 series components. The unit features 18mm Double-D input shaft and 12.7:1 gear ratio for good steering feel. You will need to modify your steering column during installation, so check the product instructions before starting. The box includes M18 X 1.5 O-Ring pressure port and M16 X 1.5 O-Ring return port connections. Maximum operating pressure is 1450 PSI with 1100-1250 PSI working range.
