Hi. Similar kind of a question as Walter above. Thunderbird 1962 with factory power steering, original pump will stay. What parts do I need to go with the 800115 Gear to made simple bolt on update ?Apr 27, 2022, 08:48
We have not done a 1962 Thunderbird in house so we wont have all needed information. Our power steering box will bolt to the chassis without modifications and should fit the original pitman arm. The steering column connection will need to be changed as well as the power steering hoses.

Do you have the specific measurements on the ford drag link adapters? I have a 74 E200 that I'm trying to convert to manual steering. I was just wondering if the ones that you offer would work.Mar 28, 2022, 08:16
Part #990003 has a 3/4"-20 thread with a .564" ball stud and part #990004 has a 1-1/16"-18 thread with a .564 ball stud.

I have a 1955 Ford Thunderbird that has factory-fitted power steering.
I would like to update the steering box using your 800115 unit. What else would I need to complete the update - thanks.

Ken, for your Thunderbird you would need the following components, box #800115, pump kit #800335, hose kit #925108 and coupler #312500. You will also need a manual steering drag link which we do not offer.
