Borgeson offers an integral power steering conversion for your 1955-1957 Chevy, featuring the remanufactured GM Delphi 600 integral power steering gearbox. This advanced gearbox delivers a true modern power steering feel with precise feedback and a sporty 12.7:1 ratio. The conversion box is designed to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and fit the stock pitman arm, making installation straightforward. However, the conversion requires shortening the stock steering column.

For floor shift cars, the outer column tube must be trimmed back to the firewall, and a replacement steering column shaft is needed. Column shift cars will need extensive modifications or can use our pre-shortened stock columns. We also provide aftermarket columns that are the correct length and compatible with our box.
